Alko Breakaway Cable

Genuine Alko breakaway cable comes with Karabiner hook.

The AL-KO breakaway cable fits all trailer and caravan braked couplings manufactured built on an AL-KO chassis. The cable has been designed to apply the brakes in the unlikely event of the trailer or caravan becoming detached from the towing vehicle.

The cable should be fitted to the handbrake of the coupling using the hook provided on the cable and it can either be hooked onto the attachment point supplied on the towbar which is the preferred and safest method by most manufacturers or failing this it can be looped around the towball, as a last resort.
